Our UK Data Sim Card can be used in an iPad, Tablet, Hotspot or USB Modem. 


The cost is $39.95 + postage, which gives you:


  • 3GB of high speed 3G/4G data in the UK, for 90 days;
  • A multi-fit sim card (can be used as a nano, micro or mini sim);
  • Works in the UK, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey), Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland;
  • The ability to add extra data if you use up all of the 3GB or if you're staying longer than 90 days.

What's included with the UK Data Sim Card?


  • A multi-fit sim card (nano, micro or mini) pre-loaded with 3GB of high speed 4G data for 90 days;  
  • On the Three UK Mobile Network which covers 98% of the UK population;
  • Also works in the Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey), Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland (data speeds when roaming in these countries will be 3G only).   
  • If you use up all of your data, or you're staying longer than 90 days, you can add more data: £10 for 1GB (valid for 30 days) or £15 for 3GB (valid for 30 days) or £25 for 7GB (valid for 30 days). You can buy extra data on our website.
  • Your device must be compatible and must be network unlocked to use the UK Data Sim Card; and
  • The hotspot/tether function on your iPad or Tablet will not work with the UK Data Sim Card.

What's not included with the UK Data Sim Card?

  • You can't use this sim card in a phone.  If you use this sim card in a phone it will be permanently blocked by the network, and you can't receive a refund from us.


How do I activate the UK Data Sim Card?

Activation of the UK Data Sim Card takes just a few minutes upon arrival.  Simply place the UK Data Sim Card into your iPad, Tablet, Hotspot or USB Modem and follow our simple step-by-step instructions and in just a few minutes your sim card will be activated and ready for immediate use.

Is my device compatible?

All iPads (that have a sim card slot) are compatible with the UK Data Sim Card.

Most other Tablets (with a sim card slot), Hotspots and USB Modems are also compatible, provided that your device operates on any of the following frequencies:

 


  • 4G/LTE 800 and 1800 MHz
  • 3G 2100 MHz.

Please refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your device to check if it is compatible.  Also if you have a Tablet you can check its specifications at www.gsmarena.com and use the search function to find your device and check its specifications.

Do I need to unlock my device?

The UK Data Sim Card will only work in an unlocked device.  It is solely your responsibility to make sure that your device is unlocked.  If you arrive in the UK and your device is locked, then the UK Data Sim Card will not work, and we will not provide you with a refund under any circumstances.

iPads and Tablets are already unlocked (there is no need to unlock an iPad or Tablet).

Hotspots and USB Modems must be unlocked because they are locked to your network until you unlock the device.  "Locked" means that your device cannot use any other sim card.  To get your device unlocked, please contact your network carrier and request an unlock (your carrier may charge you a fee to unlock your device).

To test if your device is unlocked, please put into it a different network sim card and check that it connects to the different network.

Staying longer than 30 days or need more than 3GB of data?

If you use up all of your data, or you're staying longer than 90 days, you can add more data when you get to the UK.  It costs £10 for 1GB (valid for 30 days) or £15 for 3GB (valid for 30 days) or £25 for 7GB (valid for 30 days).
